Mr. Good has represented clients regarding various state and federal regulatory aspects of mining and other development projects, including land use, air, water, waste, biological and environmental review issues. He has extensive experience with respect to transactional water rights and quality issues, site cleanup and remediation activities and air quality permits and compliance issues at local, state and federal levels. Mr. Good was counsel to the Construction Materials Association of California, the Southern California Rock Products Association, and he was general counsel of the California Mining Association. He served as that Association's President from 1985 - 1987. As of January 1, 2007, these associations merged to form a single state-wide California Construction and Industrial Materials Association (CalCIMA) which Mr. Good continues to serve as counsel.
Prior to joining Gresham Savage as a partner in 1979, Mr. Good was Chief Resources/Environmental Counsel for Kaiser Industries Corporation and Kaiser Steel Corporation, and was involved in both domestic and foreign mining and other resource development projects. He was a partner/shareholder of the firm until 2006, when he became Of Counsel, focusing on mining projects.
